THORALD KOREN
Thorald Koren is a voice and behavioral coach, singer, and multi-instrumentalist. As a vocal producer, Thorald coaches people on forming a new relationship to their brain, body, and voice, guiding them to become "comfortably uncomfortable" with their own biological alarm systems, therein allowing themselves to be radically free to express themselves fully and powerfully, and be present to the experience of singing.
ISAAC KOREN
Isaac Koren is committed to serving transformation through creative expression. His passion is to hold space for people to realize and embody their innate value through the mirror of songwriting. He is focused on exploring the receptive side of the human voice, where deeper listening brings expanded expression and the transformative power of song on the human being.

+ About the technology required
WHAT TYPE OF TECHNOLOGY IS INVOLVED? DO I NEED SPECIAL HARDWARE?
- The workshops will be run using basic modes of communication. Sessions will be conducted with the Zoom Platform. This allows for listening to lessons, viewing presentations, interactive text-chat and a general meeting space. Zoom can be downloaded onto your computer or cell phone and should be done and tested prior to course start date.
- Audio access can be through zoom also. You can also access audio via a phone line. Cell phones can also be used as long as the sound quality is good, and you are on headphones or muted when not talking – be aware of your data, you will use up a lot of minutes. Always make sure connection is available for up to 2 hours at a time.
- A computer with a reliable broadband internet connection.
- A phone line that is available for up to 2 hours at a time. Zoom can be used instead of a phone line. Cell phones can also be used as long as the sound quality is good, but you will use up a lot of minutes.
- A headset is strongly recommended. Holding the phone up to your ear gets tiring and a headset will allow you to talk and type easily. Most headsets also have a mute switch, which is very handy for when you are listening to presentations.
WHAT BROWSERS AND OPERATING SYSTEM DO I NEED TO RUN FOR THIS TO WORK PROPERLY?
The following are the supported browsers and Operating Systems for the media player to work properly:

HOW DO I ACCESS THE COURSE?
Once you purchase this course you will have access to the course-starting page. The materials will become available to you on the first day of class. This learning platform is accessible using any computer, tablet or mobile device that connects to the Internet. As long as you are connected to Internet you can enjoy the course materials from anywhere.
+ DO I NEED ANY EXPERIENCE OR PRIOR KNOWLEDGE ON THE SUBJECT BEFORE TAKING THE COURSE?
None, just a love for music and a willingness to explore. the voice.
+ DO I HAVE TO ATTEND ALL SESSIONS?
You do not have to attend all sessions, however certain sessions may be required and will be indicated as such on the program page. Key sessions will be recorded and the files will be linked from the workshop program page. That said, it is important to arrange your schedule so you can participate fully. Especially in an online format, missing out on sessions can make you feel disconnected from the workshop experience.
+ CAN I COMPLETE THE COURSE OVER SEVERAL DAYS? HOW MUCH TIME DO I HAVE TO FINISH THE COURSE?
The course is designed to be enjoyed working at a one unit per week pace. Meaning that the course is designed to work one unit at a time – the first unit in the course is open for a week and then the second one becomes available and so on until the course is complete at the scheduled time. You are welcome to work at this pace or slow down and savor the material on a timeline that works for you. Once the course starts you have one full year to enjoy the materials and complete the course. Although the support provided directly from Brothers Koren will end at the scheduled completion date of each course.
+ DO I NEED TO BE AVAILABLE OR ONLINE AT PARTICULAR TIMES?
The scheduled group zoom calls are fixed to a schedule. Otherwise, you can work entirely at your own pace. That is a wonderful aspect of an online class. Students have commented that they find these classes in even better than in- person classes, because there is no time pressure, you can choose when and for how long you want to work on something, and even have time to repeat the project and ask more questions.
+ CAN I PARTICIPATE IF I LIVE OUTSIDE OF THE US?
Absolutely. People from all over the world have taken our classes. It is wonderful to get all of your different perspectives on our shared craft from wherever you live. The online format makes these classes ideal for those who live in remote places with little access to workshops. As long as you have a good internetInternet connection, it will work for you!
+ WHAT IS THE TIME COMMITMENT FOR THE COURSES?
Participants are asked to commit 10 hours total to the program, including attendance to zoom calls or recordingss and weekly reflections which works out to an average of two to two and a half hours pera week. Of course you can get benefits in less time too. This course is meant to be powerful in a short amount of time…it’s about bringing this into your busy life as a gift to yourself!
+ DO I NEED TO BUY ANY ADDITIONAL RESOURCES OR MATERIALS TO PARTICIPATE?
No, access to the Course, including video and audio materials, in-depth readings, and guided activities are provided at no additional charge.

Courses contain a number of activities and games to play. We encourage but don’t require peer-to-peer mentoring with the other course participants. Nearly all activities includes some element of choice and ownership--allowing you the opportunity to tailor the learning to your needs.
