Who are we?

and why are we doing this work?

After a 20 year career in music and accolades that had us on world tours with P!NK,Coldplay and Rod Stewart, a young fan of our music wrote to us asking if we had ever considered working with beginners to help them write their OWN songs, and help them discover THEIR unique Voice.

We said yes!

Nearly Two hundred private Songwriter’s Journeys later ( our Flagship program), and now having worked with Thousands of humans to Re-empower and reconnect them to their voices, we have discovered that what we do is through the doorway of music but it isn’t necessarily about the music. It’s about authenticity. It’s about finding your true power. It’s about speaking up, being comfortable and accepting of who we are and learning how to celebrate what that is with sound and presence. We are truly grateful for the work that we have been called to do.

After participating in this half day event, you will be empowered to step beyond your fear, and share your true creative voice with the world.

EXPERIENCE and understand your unique voice through the vehicle of singing, discover the ‘small voices’ that inhibit your full expression, lean into taking risks, and express yourself beyond the fear.

WHY IT MATTERS

We have two major bones to pick with the world that this journey aims at shifting in your daily life: There’s no such thing as “fearless,” and there’s no such thing as “perfect.”

The world often idolizes the idea of becoming  ‘fearless’, and yet all great things come with feeling fear and nervousness, and DOING and CREATING it anyway.. when did we tell each other to try and reach fearlessness? Art and the voice begs for all the feelings.. not just the ‘nice’ ones.

And what of the pursuit of ‘ease’ and ‘comfort’ in our lives? When did this become our greatest goal? Who sold us this myth? What about the messy exploration of life, in all its creativity, in all its expression? It’s not always easy, its not always comfortable, yet its always worth it. Don’t take our word for it, come with us…

Last but not least, The deep insidious desire for perfection will also be addressed and challenged in this journey… we propose that the greatest creative magic always begins with the freedom to make a glorious mess, be dirty, unfinished, not perfect, and out of control.

We will be walking with you through a process that moves to be critical only at the RIGHT times… perfection seekers, hold onto your hats!
